Welcome to Patriot Bagels, the online home of Bella’s Bake Shop’s renowned sourdough bagels, shipped fresh to bagel lovers nationwide. 

Our story is one of passion, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence, rooted in the heart of Bella’s Bake Shop, a bakery named after my first child, Bella.  After a distinguished career as a West Point graduate, Army Reconnaissance officer, and finance professional, I traded my uniform and spreadsheets for an apron and flour-dusted hands. 

Six years ago, I founded Bella’s Bake Shop, driven by a dream to create exceptional baked goods that bring joy to every bite. What began as a local bakery in Westchester has grown into a beloved brand, thriving through retail, farmers’ markets, wholesale, and now, nationwide online sales through PatriotBagels.com.  Our journey has been marked by unforgettable milestones.

 In a serendipitous moment, Martha Stewart sought me out after tasting what she called the best croissant she’d ever had—an 81-layer butter croissant perfected through dedication and craft. I had the honor of sharing my process on her show, *Martha Cooks*, showcasing the artistry behind our baked goods. In 2024, Bella’s Bake Shop was named Best Sourdough of Westchester by *Westchester Magazine*, a testament to our commitment to quality. 

 At Patriot Bagels, we’ve taken our expertise in sourdough to new heights with our signature sourdough bagels. Crafted with time-honored techniques and an unrelenting pursuit of perfection, our bagels stand out in a crowded field, offering a chewy, flavorful experience that’s a cut above the rest.
